Controlling Your Golden Nuggets
Welcome bandineros’ to the new blog post based on facts, no FUD here. We will be diving into blockchain technology that will help us bring awareness to the ground level noobs. I hope you enjoy my personal experiences and opinions about this blockchain and how this all started for me.
From the inception of Bitcoin as a form of decentralised, digital currency, I’ve always been interested in it as a concept. The idea of having a new digital currency, totally independent of government control appealed to me. I first heard about Bitcoin in 2012 and although I was tempted to get involved, FUD (Fear. Uncertainty. Doubt) took over and I decided against it. In hindsight, a feeble move!
It wasn’t until the recent economic uncertainty caused by the latest pandemic that I decided to take a leap of faith. I know that may seem like a brave (or reckless!) move with all the uncertainty coronavirus caused, but my fundamental belief in the benefits of Bitcoin (BTC) as a store of value has always been healthy. So, with the economic outlook for the globe looking extraordinarily volatile and uncertain, I noticed the prices of BTC were relatively low and with the help of the CryptoBanditz.com, I made my first Bitcoin purchase. Since then, I’ve delved deeper into the digital rabbit hole or more specifically, the blockchain technology that powers it all.
My research into the blockchain space introduced me to a small part of the technology, which showed me a new way to manage my finances and has developed my knowledge and understanding of the blockchain aka ‘The Truth Machine’. It’s truly a revolutionary form of technology which in its purest form gives power back to the people, self-control and without the aid of a sheriff. After all, we work so hard for our money, why should we not have more control over it? It’s a no-brainer for me!
From my research, I found a golden nugget in a company called Crypto.com, and I haven’t looked back since. The App was easy to download and a breeze to buy and sell digital currency on the App. It is more intuitive than using other exchanges.
The significant difference was the incentives’ Crypto.com had to offer, mainly, the MCO card. Free to all who sign up. The entry-level card offered 1% cashback on all purchases; to my knowledge, no other debit card in the UK provides this level of reward for nothing in return (only time will tell if this stays the same)! And, that is the entry card, much more incentives with the higher staked cards. Buying and spending on the Crypto.com MCO card were straightforward. All I had to do was top up through the App, I did this by sending some profits onto the card, using one of my digital money. Then use in-store or online and receive your 1% cashback straight into your Crypto.com wallet. Simple! Now I opted for the entry-level blue MCO card, but Crypto.com have a whole range of cards that offer some mind-blowing perks such as free Netflix and Spotify monthly subscription payments, airport lounge access and for the big ballers: use of a private jet!
The perks dont stop there, Crypto.com have a range of other services starting with Crypto Earn which allows you to earn interest of up to 18% p.a. on your crypto. I haven’t delved into this yet but getting involved with this seems like another no-brainer! I don’t know of any centralised bank that will offer similar interest rates on your savings! Also, providing credit with their Crypto Credit Service, which will allow you to borrow up to half of any digital currency you put up as collateral. No credit checks, no repayment deadline and you have approval straight away so that you can spend your nuggets! Brilliant for people who find it hard to access standard lending streams. Businesses benefit too, as they also offer a Crypto Pay Service so companies can accept digital currency payments on their websites as well.
For those who are simply in it to buy and sell digital currency, in addition to the phone app, Crypto.com have their exchange portal which needs to be accessed from a web browser (phone, desktop or laptop) and offers order book trading. Great to use if you’re looking to add to your sacks of golden nuggets.
Crypto.com demonstrate their caring and compassionate side through the way they have supported users through the coronavirus epidemic. Not only have they reduced fees to zero for card purchases, but they are also giving additional cashback on purchases with a range of different retailers through their gift card cashback scheme. It shows a real caring side to the company and does the world of crypto, a whole lot of good!
CRO and MCO (coins) are the native tokens for Crypto.com and both rank highly on Coingecko for market capitalisation, with both using the Ethereum’s ERC-20 standard coding. At the moment, until the end of June 2020, Crypto.com are offering no fees on buying, selling or trading digital currency.
Overall, Crypto.com is an ambitious, forward-thinking blockchain project that offers a wide range of benefits for its users financially; if this is the new world, then we may be on to a winner. So, if you are looking to get into this space, check out Crypto.com, as they seem like an excellent option, giving my two bits into this blockchain company.
Crypto.com‘s newly released decentralised app-based mobile wallet is an excellent additional feature! The wallet app has three levels of security through a passphrase, biometrics and 2-factor authentication; keeping your golden nuggets safe, secure and out of the hands of the Sheriff! A key point that stuck with me is their promotional materials for the wallet; they believe that control over your money, data and identity should be a fundamental human right! The same stance we keep at CryptoBanditz, not your keys, not your crypto! So, the release of the new crypto.com wallet seems like a safe and secure way to HODL those coins until you gain sacks and sacks of G-Units.
I hope you enjoyed the ride, reading my first blog. My future is looking brighter than a shiny penny and I’m onboard with CryptoBanditz to help build awareness and bring you new blogs from my personal beliefs with no FUD, but only facts and my intercommunication into this space.
Drop me a line and tell me what blockchain technology you would like me to dive into and I’ll do my darn best to bring you the information you need. So, I hope you enjoyed the blog as I had a hell-of-a-time’ writing it! And don’t let the saloon doors hit you on the way out!
